Our Story
How We Met
Breeanna was in Las Vegas celebrating her sister Melodi’s birthday. As she was going up to her hotel room, Tharell was in the elevator. He started talking to her and decided to walk her to her room—and that was the last time she thought she was going to see him. She didn’t know they had mutual friends, but a month later Breeanna and her sister were at a club, and when they walked out, her sister saw Tharell and started talking to him. Tharell had known Breeanna’s sister for years prior to meeting Breeanna, and that’s when Breeanna and Tharell exchanged numbers and started to get to know each other.
First Date
For their first date, Breeanna brought Tharell to one of her favorite spots in Pasadena. They grabbed food to-go and headed to Pasadena City College, where they laid out a picnic on the lawn.
The Proposal
On the day of Breeanna’s 35th birthday, Tharell took her back to Las Vegas—where they first met. He arranged a beautiful dinner with her family at Hakkasan. After dinner, he grabbed her hands… and for a moment, he forgot what he was going to say. He was shaking, and the room was overwhelmed with anticipation. Then he got down on one knee and proposed. He never asked Breeanna what type of ring she liked. They never went shopping. She never even told him her ring size…he just knew. And it was beautiful.
Forever Begins
We chose 08.08 because the figure-eight shape suggests endless cycles, symbolizing eternal love. And we chose the year ‘26 because 2+6=8. ♾️
